MiniStage, operated by the team at eStage, uses the latest 3D printing technology and methods, including extruded plastic and UV reactive resin. We can produce detailed and complicated 1:25 and 1:50 model elements leaving model makers the valuable time required to work on finishes and paint effects.

We work directly with designers and model makers to create custom prints for your individual needs. We are also building a collection of standard models available for immediate purchase from our online store. These include everyday items regularly used in theatre productions, I.e. tables, chairs, doors, decks etc. We would love to hear from you if you have suggestions or ideas for things we should create and then stock.

    We are currently working to be as environmentally aware as possible by using biodegradable plastics, 100% green power, offsetting delivery carbon and planting a tree in order to sustain a positive impact.

  • Plant Based Filament and Resin

    MiniStage uses light-curing resin to create its models; however, many of these resins on the market have chemicals that harm the environment and human health. We have sourced a supplier of a natural green LCD-3D photocuring material that uses soybean oil as raw material.

    We also print using PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament, the default filament of choice for most extrusion-based 3D printers. It is also one of the most environmentally friendly filaments today. Derived from crops such as corn and sugarcane, PLA is renewable and, most importantly, biodegradable.

  • Green Power

    We use 100% renewable solar, wind, and hydro electricity to run our printers and create 3D models. Each month, we support a range of carbon reduction projects certified at the highest level by Gold Standard or the Verified Carbon Standard.


    We use 100% recyclable packaging and carbon-neutral delivery methods, and to top it all off, we will plant one extra tree in our Ecologi Forest for every order placed.
